Seasons Eternal Ketubah
by Robert Saslow
Ketubah Description
This ketubah depicts the natural world which is fascinating and mysterious in its wonder. Its annual cycle has no beginning and no end. It is a miraculous, ever-changing circle; centerless, yet with boundaries reaching far and wide. The trees in this ketubah are particularly powerful metaphors for the individual and for the couple. At times, we find strength reaching out and interacting with those near to us; at other times, we find strength in our solitude. Thus, some of the trees are huddled close together while others are more separated.
