Katagami – Indigo Ketubah
by Temma Gentles
Ketubah Description
For the original of this print, silk fabric was overlaid with a parchment papercut divided into quadrants representing the four elements of earth, water, air and sky. These sections are further divided into 18 (Chai) rays of light surrounding the design text to wish the couple a long and blessed life together. (This is a flat reproduction of the original- there is no fabric or material on each giclee print- only ink.)
