Originally from China, Gingko Biloba is the earth’s oldest living tree species, with fossils dating back 270 million years. This printed giclee design is assembled from an original artwork piece of a collection of distinctive gingko leaves that have been pigmented and preserved, and arranged around the central spiral of the ketubah text. Ketubah Artist Bio
Temma’s background includes many hours spent with her grandparents in their ladies’ wear store in Toronto. She studied literary symbolism in English and Russian at University of Toronto, and later graduated from Ontario College of Art. Her work has won prestigious awards and is owned by several museums. She is a founder of the Pomegranate Guild,of Judaic Needlework and on the executive of the Textile Museum’s Volunteer Association.
